Comfy Fall Attire || Pretty Little Studio

Hello, everyone!  Today I am sharing a layout that was featured on The Pretty Little Studio blog a couple of days ago.  It was made with our featured product: die cuts!  I am a big fan of die cuts recently.  They just make scrapping so much easier.  For today's layout I used a few different die cuts from the Oakley Avenue collection.

I also used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe that I backed with a few different papers from the collection.

Die cuts made it all come together quickly! :-)  (on a side note...how pasty white are my feet?!)

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Jillibean Soup

Good morning, everyone!  Happy Gilmore Girls Day!

In addition to hunkering down and watching Gilmore Girls all day, I am joining a few other members of the Jillibean Soup design team and we are participating in Tracey McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  Today is the final day of sharing tags and I am so excited that I was able to participate.  You can find all the details of this event and play along here.  There are a few fun prizes up for grabs, so I definitely recommend checking it out :)

Here is my tag created with some fabulous Jillibean Soup products:

You can't really tell from the photo, but the kraft and white polka dot background is actually created with some Jillibean kraft tape.  I then used one of their fabulous stamp sets and my gold embossing powder to create some sparkly snowflakes on top.  Finally, I layered on an old-school journaling sprout, some wordfetti wood veneers and my fave Jillibean Soup product: adhesive sequins!

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to check out the rest of today's tag inspiration here!

Quick Share!

Hey, everyone!  I just realized that I never shared a layout that I made a few weeks ago.  I've been stalking various scrapbook companies for awhile to get my little hands on the You Are Loved collection from Bella Blvd/Illustrated Faith.  It was designed by the talented Steph Buice and it is gorgeous!  I finally got it and I had to play right away:

I expect I'll make many more projects using this collection...its just so much fun!

A Paper Issues Challenge

Hi, everyone!  I am popping in to share a layout that I made just for fun.  Paper Issues is having an online crop on their Facebook page, and they a wide variety of challenges posted.  I've never participated before, but I decided to give one of them a whirl...to be fair, it was a challenge that was right up my alley....so it wasn't that challenging for me...oh well!

The challenge: create a layout where the design is just on the edge of one side of the layout.  Here's what a came up with using the new Addison collection from Bella Blvd:
The colors in this collection are some of my faves!

Happy Saturday!

Beach Baby (PLS)

Hello, everyone!  I am popping in to share my most recent project for Pretty Little Studio.  Today I had to share a Thursday Tip for you.  My tip: fussy cut those pretty papers!  :)

Fussy cutting is one of my favorite techniques.  I love embellishing my page, but I also like to keep my pages flat so they fit into my albums without creating too much bulk.  As soon as I got my little hands on the pretty Flower Crown paper from the Summer Vibes collection I knew I wanted to cut it up and use the pretty flowers all over the paper.  I combined the fussy cut flowers with some of the die cuts from the collection and a cut file from The Cut Shoppe to create a bright, happy layout.

Pretty Little Studio || Hello Fall

Hello, everyone!  I wanted to share a layout that I created with the super-fun, super-cozy Oakley Avenue collection from Pretty Little Studio.  I live in Florida and we don't really have seasons here...haha...but I really love this collection so I've been asking my sister-in-law to send me all her Fall photos of my nieces and nephew.  This one of one of my nieces in the corn pit made for a cute scrapping opportunity.

I added some watercolor to my cardstock first, then layered on paper (some torn, some not) and then embellishments.  I fussy cut some of the pie charts from one of the papers in the collection to sprinkle around.  The end result is kinda fun:
